Just veggin’ out

20121107-145030.jpgDid you make your veggie tray for the week? I know I finished mine earlier this morning after a trip to the grocery store. I’ve been looking for something new to dip my veggies in and I found Otria’s Greek Yogurt Veggie Dip! The taste is pretty good, the consistency is really thin for a veggie dip, I like mine a little b_2012030817242559731thicker. But change is always good every once in a while.  What kind of veggie dips do you like?? If I have a regular veggie dip, I typically choose a light veggie dip like the one on the right. Martzetti is the brand that makes both of these veggie dips!

Or Sometimes I like to dip my veggies in hummus. (<–click to see my post on hummus) My favorite hummus brand would have to Sabra, Sabra has so many different choices and their taste is my favorite out of all the ones I have tried. I usually go for the pine nut flavor, or the roasted red pepper is a great one as well.

Or one of my all time favorite things to do is use peanut putter for my celery. I’ve even heard that some people pb-and-celery1
like to put raisins and peanut butter together. I’ll definitely have to try that one! Peanut Butter is a guilty pleasure of mine. I could put it on everything. I recent have tried almond butter, and it is absolutely amazing. It’s got this roasted peanutty taste, and taste so natural! It’s even better for you than peanut butter is!

When I was a little kid, I used to spray cheese on my celery too! I thought it was a lot of fun to use that can, and it tasted really good. So if you wanna change in pace of veggie dips, you should definitely try it 🙂 stuffed-celery

    1. completely agree, it’s easy to snack on chips and cookies when you don’t have a ready made veggie tray. But when you have it done, it makes your week so much easier to stay on the right track. and thank you so much for the award, I hope you have an amazing day!

  1. Love all these options, I personally like greek yogurt ranch dip with my veggies. You inspired me start my own food tips & recipes category on my own blog! Thanks
